Who is Eligible?
New business ventures and all existing businesses located in the
Berea community. The Center is an equal opportunity Service Provider.
What is the Cost?
There are at times a materials fee for class participants. All other
costs are paid unless discussed first with the client.
Why are classes limited to 15 participants? Course work includes
individual meetings throughout the 9 weeks to apply principles discussed
in class to the individual's venture. This takes time and is the
key success factor.
What if I find that I do not want to start a business after taking
the classes?
The process is to gather information, write a business plan and
then determine if the venture is something that you want to do.
The entrepreneur is always in control of the decision process.
What about future support?
Once a client, you are always a client. On-going support is provided
to help you stay in business.
Do I have to take the classes to get help?
The Center works one-on-one with special projects. We encourage
new start-ups to go through the formal training classes.
Is there free or low cost money available from financing sources?
The Center controls no funds but assists clients in finding suitable
financing in the free enterprise system.
Who knows about my business?
The Center holds all information confidential. Information
is released only with approval.
