We will be meeting this Wednesday, March 4 at 5:00 pm in BTC 202! If you are wanting to go to the State Leadership Confrence in March, you have to be registered for a competition by March, 13. Dr. Robles has to register you, so you must attend this meeting so that she knows who to register and for what competition. The 13th falls during our spring break! CONFERENCE

It’s time to start our countdown to Get the Edge at the 2009 National Leadership Conference (NLC) in sunny Anaheim, California. The 2009 NLC is only a few months away, and Anaheim is a great location for this year’s conference, taking place June 20–23 for PBL and June 25–28 for FBLA. In early March, you’ll be receiving the 2009 NLC Guide. It will have everything you need to know about this year’s conference including competitive events, photography, discounted tours, attraction tickets, and travel.

Online registration for the conference will open March 1, 2009. Registration for members and advisers for FBLA is $95, and for PBL is $105. When planning to attend the NLC, don’t forget to take advantage of our premier training event—the Institute for LeadersSM (IFL). The IFL is held immediately preceding the NLC. It brings together FBLA-PBL’s best and most promising leaders for two days of intensive leadership development. The cost to attend the IFL is $115 for members, $50 for advisers, and $100 for candidates.
